Blue Hour Is Better Together

Blue Hour Is Better Together

Winter and early spring in northern Europe are brutal. Dark by 4pm, cold that bites, roads that feel empty. You think you get used to it. You don't, really.

So we asked ourselves a simple question: what if running in the dark and cold didn't have to feel lonely?

That question sparked Blue Hour Run Club.

Bring people together during that quiet, moody twilight when the sky shifts and the roads feel like they belong to you. Run together. Then stay for beer or coffee, breakfast, and good company.

Everyone who shows up gets a limited-edition Blue Hour Run Club tee for the winter/spring 2026 season. Designed by a local German artist, made from organic cotton. The kind you'll actually reach for on a Sunday morning.

We've been taking this across Europe with running retailers who get it.

We kicked off on 26th March in Dresden, Germany, with our partner Laufsportladen. Then on 10th April in Copenhagen, Denmark, a chilly 5k with Boozt, followed by coffee and pastries. The very next morning, before the sun was fully up, we met the Runners' Lab crew in Mechelen, Belgium and welcomed the sunrise together.

On 15th April in Hamburg, Tide Runners — the city's first running crew, founded in 2014 — led us through the streets after dark. We set off from Playground Coffee. If anyone knows how to move through Hamburg at night, it's them.

The final stretch of the season is happening across Denmark with Kaiser Sport & Ortopædi. We already ran our first 5k in Sønderborg on 1st May, highlights shared over coffee and breakfast, as it should be.

Two more to go:

📍 8th May — Odense, Denmark | Gråbrødrepassagen 9
📍 15th May — Aarhus, Denmark | Åboulevarden 70

The blue hour doesn't last long. Neither does the season. Two runs left — see you out there.
