from 12 reviewsI have really enjoyed running in this new shoe, were comfort of the feet has a high priority. I find the padding around the heel really taking care of the foot in a great way. The increased height in the sole gives a very comfortable support in the arch area. I also find the width in the forefoot very convenient on the long runs, where the feet swells
Good neutral running shoe, nice fit. Works well with insoles. Roomy toe box.
Nice off set, excellent cushioning not to soft but no stiff en stirdy . very breathable upper.
Very durable outsole rubber. Very nice neutral running shoe for your daily runs short and long.
My opinion about these shoes is built on 3 short running sessions: 7,4 km, 10,5 km and 7,7 km. Currently I run about 140 km/week, and usually 15 km or more.
In the speed range around 5.20 and slower I think the shoes feel a little hard. They remind me a little of my Saucony Endorphin Speed, though quite a bit heavier – 315 g opposed to 244 g. But the same feel, that they get better at little “higher” speeds, for me below 5.10/km, where I tend to run slightly more middle foot.
It must be said that I am used to running a lot in New Balance and Hoka and they are quite soft.
I would say that the Movv shoe is an all-round shoe. I would choose a lighter shoe for my speedwork and a more cushioned soft shoe for my longer slow runs. But I rotate about 10 pair of shoes, and if you just want a single or 2 pair of shoes, the Movv could be a good choice.
When you step into the shoe, you feel at home at once. They fit very well, with good room for your forefoot, without the shoes feeling too large.
Conclusion: a good choice of shoes, if you are looking for a well-fit all-round shoe and only use a single pair or maybe two pairs of shoes in your training.
After approx. 150 km in my Movv, I can hardly see that I have used it. The fit is really nice and I find the shoe very comfortable to ware. I love it!
The shoes from MOVV are a great match for my foot. My foot is a bit wide, but the shoes fit perfectly. They are nice to run in different kinds of terrain. I’ve run on asphalt, in the forrest and on gravel. They worked everywhere.
They also keep rain/water out for longer than other running shoes I’ve tried, but they are still not so closed that they leave your feet sweaty.
My feet have great support when I run.
A smooth-running neutral shoe, spacious enough in the forefoot for a comfortable feel when putting it on. The shoe is not overly soft or too high in stack, providing a direct connection with the ground beneath you. The roll-off is quite smooth, making it suitable for both slower and slightly faster long-distance runs.
Soft and comfortable
The NOSTARA is a stable neutral daily training shoe. A wider volume upper provides a comfortable fit that requires a little extra lockdown. The toe box is slightly tapered but opens into a wide forefoot. The heel fits normally with moderate heel collar padding. There is a stiff heel counter in the rearfoot that can be noticeable for those with heel sensitivities. Those wanting a stable heel counter will do great.
The midsole feels cushioned but slightly firm. Due to the asymmetrical construction , paired with firmer foam under the medial arch, the transition feels very stable for a neutral shoe. The NOSTARA does best at easy paces though, the forefoot does allow for some up-tempo paces.
The thick rubber outsole gives great traction on wet road and smooth trails and has been incredibly durable.
The NOSTARA is for those who want a stable neutral ride. The upper will work best for those with lower volume feet that still want a bit of width in the midfoot and forefoot.
The sole will work best for those who want a moderate stack & drop with a cushioned, firm and protective ride.
I am very happy with my MOVV running shoes. A nice fit and really good shock absorption. Was worried if it was wide enough for my wide foot. But the toebox fits a wide foot perfectly. I've run 1000km in my white MOVVs and they still feel great.
Running in the new MOVV Nostaral shoes is a thoroughly positive experience. I don’t recall having ever felt so well connected and grounded to the surface underneath.
Not only does the shoe have a really nice design, but it also, and more importantly, fits and embraces the foot so smoothly. It’s very light, giving the right support in the places needed, but also allowing the necessary space around the forefoot and toes. The design of the sole contributes to the optimal feeling during all faces of the running cycle, from impact to toe-off. The soles are very durable and has a good grip that works well on all surfaces, without being slippery. The shoes have proven themselves to be very sturdy in all weather conditions. They’re breathable, without leaving the feet cold and icy in winter conditions.
Last, but not least, I’ve found myself to be recovering faster after a long run in these shoes! A fact I find is a result of all the above factors, that contribute to the functionality of the shoes and makes them reach a higher level that really puts the finishing touch to the overall experience.
All in all the Movv shoes gives me the feeling of being able to keep moving - and for me – that’s as perfect, as it can be. I’ve become a total fan!
